Troop 70 has been shaping young men of character and leadership since 1930, when it was founded by a group of civic-minded citizens in University Park, Texas. Today, we proudly serve families from across the Dallas metro area—no matter where you live, you are welcome in Troop 70.

We are a well-established, highly-active troop of approximately 75–100 Scouts. Our size is intentional: large enough to offer diverse opportunities, yet small enough to ensure every Scout is known, supported, and given meaningful leadership opportunities.

Scout Program

At Troop 70, we believe Scouting should be accessible, flexible, and rewarding for every boy who wants to participate. We understand that families today balance school, sports, and many other commitments. Troop 70 is designed to complement—not compete with—your son’s schedule. Our goal is simple: to help every Scout grow in confidence, leadership, and character—on a timeline that fits his busy life.

Personalized Development

Our smaller troop size allows us to provide individualized attention that helps each Scout succeed.
